Tired Of Working Too Much? That's What You Need To Do

One of the most important things you should focus on as an entrepreneur is building ⁣systems.⁣

One of the main reasons why people fail to grow their business is that they are required in every step of their business journey, at all times. And it's very hard for one person to fill in all those shoes required to grow and succeed.

⁣⁣

Entrepreneurs are pulled into so many directions that in the end, they can't concentrate on being strategic and move the business forward. They are stuck in the hamster wheel and daily routines. And at the end of the day, if you truly want to build an empire, you need to work on your business and not in your business.

Not having systems and help in place, often leads entrepreneurs to burn out and fall out of love with the business. And that's very bad, as it's often not the business's fault, but their own.

Constant stress, overwhelmed, and endless hours doing the same things repeatedly is not how the life of the founder should look like.

I've been a struggling entrepreneur before, so I know that it's not the fun place to be in. What I did to change it was that I created systems and structures within my business that made my life easier and allowed me to focus on my business and see where I want it to go.

And today, I wanted to share the things that you can automate in your business the first change that you get so that you don't burn out and continue growing.

Let's jump in.

6 Things You Can Automate in Your Business

#1: Generating leads ⁣

Having an email list is one of the most important things for your business. There is no way around it, and you have to make it happen if you want to have successful product launches and consistent income.

But it does require a lot of work to get started and maintain. So, instead of offering your lead magnet to everyone yourself and always trying to build your list manually, you need to get yourself a system that allows you to do just that.

There are plenty of email marketing tools that are very easy to use and don't cost a fortune that could help you tremendously. A few of very great ones are:

  • MailerLite
  • MailChimp
  • CovertKit
  • Aweber

I personally use Kajabi for everything, from my website to my email list, so it's a great option if you want to have everything in one place.

But with these tools, you can build systems, where you won't have to worry about growing your emails list once everything is up and running. It is going to make it so much easier for you, and it will help your business grow big time.

So, if you don't have a lead generating system in place yet, I would suggest getting on it immediately!

#2: Sending automatic emails ⁣

Now, once you start generating leads, of course, you'll need to keep up with your email list. So, you'll need to find ways to send emails and connect with your audience that way.

The same email marketing tools usually let you automate the emails, so you don't have to worry about sending them. You can simply batch your emails for a month, schedule them all to go at certain times of the week, and then don't have to worry about it until the next time.

I personally suggest you set up an automatic email response to your work email as well. If you're getting lots of emails from companies and strangers online, it might be a good idea to set up an automated email letting people know when you'll get back to them.

This way, you're not going to be receiving multiple emails again and again when people don't hear from you in 24 hours, and it saves you a headache.

#3: Sending invoices ⁣

This is the most important part of your business as if you don't send invoices, you're not going to get paid. So, you always have to be on top of your game and send invoices on time.

But it can be a real pain in the butt, tracking all the payments and trying to send in all the invoices, so you should be automatic it as much as possible.

I personally use a CMS tool, which allows me to have all my clients in one place, their emails, and send invoices via that tool as well. There are many CMS tools out there, just google it.

But, they can get pricy, so if you don't want to invest straight away, it might be worth trying PayPal or Wave accounting tools. PayPal Business account (which is free) allows you to send invoices easily to your clients, and Wave accounting does the same and doesn't cost a dime.

So, if you're trying to build systems around your business, I would actually start with invoicing first.

#4: Booking calls ⁣

If you offer a coaching service or discovery calls, you need to have a system that is easy to use and allows you to better manage your time.

If you have clients email you personally every time they want to book you, and then you need to go back and forth with them about availability and find the best time, it's not going to be productive for you.

That is a lot of time wasted that could be spent working on your business instead.

So, get yourself a tool that allows you to put up a calendar with your availability on your website. When people want to book you, they can do it automatically, and then you get the notification on your calendar about the upcoming call.

Easy and very efficient, and this will save you a lot of time.

#5: Posting on social media ⁣

Posting on social media and being consistent is very important if you want to grow your personal brand and business. But it also takes a lot of time and effort to do. So, you should be building a system that allows you to minimize the time you spend doing it.

There are tools like PLANN, Later, Buffer, and many more that allow you to schedule your social media posts in advance, so you don't have to worry about posting.

Batch your social media content once a month or so, schedule it with the scheduling tool and voila. You're consistent with your social media strategy while still being able to focus on other important things as well!

Final thoughts⁣

So, as you can see, all of this can be simplified, automated, and streamlined, meaning that all of these things can be done without you. You will have more time for family, sleep, play, and self-care.

There are so many wonderful platforms to do that & keep you sane.⁣

Take a step back. Always Evaluate your business. Get a business coach to help you do that if needed. Cut what is not important. Streamline and automate processes that you are doing over and over again. Create systems that you can teach others so you can be replaced from. This is when the business becomes actually fun.
